What's the role?
Schedule surgeries for patients
Schedule ancillary services and testing (MRI, CT scans, etc.)
Obtain insurance authorizations for above procedures
Manage phone calls with regard to above procedures
Counsel patients with regard to upcoming surgeries and testing
Coordinate pre-surgical clearance from the patients' PCP
Ensure history and physicals are faxed before surgeries
Assemble surgical orders for PA's and coordinate PA schedule to MD schedule for the operating room
Provide back up support for front desk

We are looking for an detail-oriented and efficient team player who has good communication skills and can face challenges head on with their team. You should meet the following qualifications as well:
High School Diploma or GED required
Previous medical office experience that includes complex coordination of referrals, testing or surgeries is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service attitude
Working knowledge of medical terminology
Knowledge of scheduling protocols
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
