FIRST Shift (7:
00am - 3:
30pm) Overtime as needed or as business necessitates.
Starting wage dependent upon experience.
PRIMARY JOB DESCRIPTION, DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Acting as a subject-matter expert on HSE topics including emergency preparedness, and safety risk.
Maintain HSE compliance, reporting requirements, and managing the adoption of relevant policies and procedures.
Conduct industrial hygiene monitoring.
Lead safety committee.
Trains employees on safety related topics.
Responsible for all aspects of first aid.
Perform other duties as assigned.
At all times, work to Therm, Incorporated Code of Ethics, Safety Standards and Quality Policies while performing operational functions.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Must pass physical examination and drug test.
Background check is also performed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or a high school diploma with at least 5 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite-- Word & Excel.
Attention to detail is a must.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
