is located in beautiful Northeast Ithaca and we are looking to add a dynamic, personable, motivated administrative assistant to our terrific team.
We are a small office and we want just the right person to sit at our front desk and be our receptionist, our customer service representative and, frankly, our company chameleon, performing a variety of tasks that assist operations.
We want this candidate to have an eye on the future.
If you have a desire to grow in the financial field or in operations management, we will be your biggest cheerleaders.
What would you do in a day? Answer and direct phone calls and greet guests Assist with client communications, including mailings and emails Take and maintain meeting notes Maintain client records in our management system Assist with processing client documents Assist with processing the daily review of transactions Assist the Director of Operations with a variety of supportive tasks Assist the Chief Investment Officer with gathering news, data and research on equities and other investments Provide assistance with other office projects as they arise Doublecheck and verify your work - we believe in 100% accuracy! What qualifications do you need to have? 4
years of office experience.
A college degree and successful work experience in the financial services industry is preferred but not required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
A high level of attention to detail, organization and time-management and multi-tasking skills.
A reputation of trustworthiness, honesty and good character.
An eagerness to learn and the ability to learn quickly and thoroughly.
The ability to adhere 100% to the privacy and ethical policies of our Firm.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel.
Experience with Client Relations Management systems is preferred but not required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
