Farm Services operates the university's compost facility.
By collecting organic waste such as food scraps and animal bedding and turning it into a nutrient-rich soil amendment, Farm Services diverts about half of the university's total solid waste stream.
What you will do:
Mow lawns at several outlying facilities for other departments within Cornell AES.
Clean and maintain equipment and facilities.
Assist with other research or facility projects within Farm Services.
Pick up and deliver waste to Compost facility which is also operated by Farm Services.
This is a full-time, 39 hour per week, six month appointment with Farm Services in Ithaca, NY and the Homer Research Farm in Freeville, NY.
Expected schedule is (2) days per week at Farm Services in Ithaca, NY and (3) days per week in Freeville, NY.
What We Need:
Basic computer skills.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be cleared to drive for university business.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Some tractor and equipment experience preferred.
Must be able to lift 50 pound repeatedly throughout the day and lift, bend, climb ladders.
Be able to work outside in all types of weather.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
