5 hour position available in Tompkins County! Seeking an innovative and experienced communications and development professional to work with the Director of Community Relations to expand the public's awareness and support of Racker, its mission, and its programs.
Responsible for coordinating fund-raising, community events, and outreach activities.
Will create donor reports and develop action steps to increase community, foundation, and corporate giving.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential in this role, which will be tasked with developing and maintaining relationships with outside partners and vendors, including advertising outlets, printers, etc.
Rate of pay is $50,000-$65,000 annually, depending on education and experience.

Responsibilities:
Write grants to support programs and the general operations of the organization.
Oversee grants management and required follow up; Set department deadlines for solicitations, newsletters, events and ensure timely completion of task;, Coordinate Racker Rivals Big Red, Community Celebration and other events as needed, including volunteer coordination and corporate sponsorship; Create marketing plans for both Community Relations and other department's events and activities; Work with director on donor stewardship and recognition; Train other department members on role-specific tasks; Supervision of two staff within department Ability to work on-site at assigned office.
Responsible for monitoring and overseeing social media content.
Oversee database management and specialized reporting utilizing Raiser's Edge; Create proposals, review quotes, and interview and supervise contract employees and vendors; Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred Proficient in Excel, Word, Power-Point.
Highly knowledgeable in donor database management.
Excellent written and verbal communication Experience planning events.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Keen attention to detail and ability to multitask Excellent customer service skills and ability to maintain a professional demeanor in high-pressure situations, strong follow up and follow through are a must.
