We are seeking Cashiers for our ITHACA location.
Job Summary Provides exceptional customer service, responsible for handling the cash register, preparing food, and has knowledge of our products Prior retail & convenience store experience in a fast paced environment is a PLUS! Responsibilities and Duties - Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate cash register and handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide product information.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels.
- ID all customer for tobacco and alcohol purchases - Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
- Familiarity with operating a cash register or point-of-sale system.
