Evenings/Nights (Flex):
Evening/Night flex hours range from 11a-7a.
Our shifts are:
11a-11p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a, 7p-7a.
We work in 8 or 12 hour shifts.
It's important this position be flexible in their shift hours.
We work in the Fashion of 2- 8 hour shifts and 2-12 hour shifts a week allowing for 3 days off.
We also have assigned rotating holidays and every other weekend.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized Patient Service Representative to join our team.
A Patient Service Representative's responsibilities include various activities related to patient intake, such as greet and check-in patients, verify/update patient demographics, assist patients with filling out consent forms, receive and process cash and credit card payments for medical services rendered.
Initiate calls, pages and triage phone calls.
Assists in admissions, discharges, transfers and fulfills other customer service or clerical duties.
Position benefits are flexible hours and a self-scheduling system allowing to choose preferred schedule.
A Patient Service Representative needs to have strong organizational skills along with the ability to think on their feet when faced with new situations that arise throughout each day within a professional medical environment.
Minimum
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Professional manner and appearance Strong interpersonal and communication skills Meticulous attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook) o Knowledge of medical terms and practices preferred Ability to work independently At this time Cayuga Health System will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
