Cornell University invites applications for a full-time, 10 month position as Assistant Athletic Trainer. Provide medical emergency coverage for on-site practices, competition (home and away), and strength and conditioning sessions as assigned. Coordinate and carry out the treatment and physical rehabilitation of student-athletes. Study, research, evaluate and recommend new techniques and equipment in athletic training - treatment/rehabilitation. Compile and maintain electronic medical records - HIPAA compliant. Assist with daily management and operation of athletic training room. Supervise undergraduate student athletic trainers and graduate assistant athletic trainers.
Bachelor''s degree, with 1-2 years of experience or equivalent (graduate assistant) in Athletic Training. Master''s degree or completion of master''s degree coursework requirements preferred.
Must have certification from NATA, CPR/AED Certification.
Facility with standard computer programs (Microsoft office, etc.).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
