PHYSICIAN REFERRAL COORDINATOR/SPECIALIST: (Physician Relations)

This position will be responsible for providing preauthorization requirements for Imaging procedures on behalf of CAP affiliated physicians to include verifying insurance eligibility, obtaining clinical information from providers, and completing date input for pre-certification requests. This position will be cross-trained to cover the Physician Referral Center. Candidates should possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with CAP practices, to work independently, to multi-task and handle a high volume work load, knowledge of medical terminology, along with proficiency with various computer software. Qualifications should include a minimum of two years related experience (healthcare billing, intake, utilization management pre-certification), strong customer service experience and knowledge of medical coding.
(Full time, with benefits, days/flex, including weekends as assigned)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
