Reliability Engineer

Adecco Engineering and Technical has a current job opportunity for a Reliability Engineer in Ithaca, NYJOB REQUIREMENTS:
Test and Reliability Engineer Responsibilities:
Set up and support of test and reliability equipment for semiconductor laser production, research and development work Use free space optics, electronics, and computer controlsIndependent data analysis and presentation of resultsDevelop systems and methods for reliability testing individual laser die Perform optical and electrical measurements from DC to GHz frequenciesCarry out failure analyses on semiconductor lasersRequirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with significant semiconductor electronics experience.
Preferred fields of expertise are EE, Physics, Math/Statistics.
Use of optical and electrical measurement equipment including OSA, power meter, integrating sphere, photodiodes, and current, voltage, and power metersComfortable preparing written reports and making technical presentations as requiredFamiliarity with advanced semiconductor failure analysis tools such as SEM, FBIC, EDS, gas chromatography, mass spectrometry and others strongly preferredExperience with LabView/GPIB software and systems would be a plusMS Office experience, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to work independently and within a team environmentTo be considered for this position, please use the "apply now" button to submit your resume.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
