Outlook Technician

This position supports on site cylinder delivery for Cornell, Ithaca.
Primarily focused at Cornell this role will work at the customers' site providing on time product deliveries to the point of use.
o This position/person will be responsible for overseeing customer cryogenic needs from the Airgas Ithaca facility.
o They will be responsible for order entry and will assist in managing our branch inventories of these products through working with Airgas vendors.
o The person will have to carry a minimum of a CDL class B license w/Hazmat.
o They will also be required to fill smaller/portable containers off of a larger bulk vessel on regular basis.
o The person will also be called upon to VMI and deliver and other products within the local Ithaca market.
o They will also have to inspect and follow through with any necessary repairs that may be required of assets.

Also required to push and pull liquid containers weighing up to 1000 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
o Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling and repetitive motion required.
o Ability to perform work during occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and finger activities including the tightening of ratchet binders.
o Must be able to safely drive a forklift.
o Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
o Must be able to work outdoors in temperatures ranging from -10 to over 100 degrees.
o Talk to and hear customers/co-workers as well as smell/hear leaking gas from cylinders.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
