Staff Product Engineer
Our client is looking for a Product Engineer to lead projects and business development in support of their automotive timing system product.
Responsibilities:
Creation and review of product performance specifications
Proof of concept and technical assessment of design refinements.
Recommend design changes to meet customer requirements
Lead and/or support DFMEA and DVP&R reviews
Support analysis of prototype parts for functional performance and/or failure modes as well a parts diagnostics on customer vehicles/engines
Lead or support all technical meetings with customers
Plant product support for improved quality, manufacturing efficiency or design cost reductions.
Education/
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Master's Degree Preferred
8
years experience in close tolerance mechanical/hydraulic devices
Experienced in GD&T, and tolerance stacks
Excellent problem solving skills (8D, FTA, DOE)
Familiarity with statistical methods for data analysisEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
