Our client is looking for a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to provide quality support to production operations and ensuring the integrity of components from sub suppliers meet engineering requirements. The Senior Supplier Quality Engineer will drive quality improvements, ensure company standards and meet organizational goals for achieving zero defect performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Results for this position will be measured by internal customer satisfaction and supplier metrics.
Drives quality improvement efforts internally and externally (supply base).
Respond to company plant production by ensuring all supplier parts meet engineering requirements.
Responsible for advanced product quality planning, roadblock remover, and successful launch of supply base components
Ensure that Control Systems are established
Conduct supplier audits of Implemented Corrective Actions Plans, quality systems and overall operations.
Conduct Supplier Quality Training at suppliers facilities to meet specific quality expectations/requirements.
Optimizes Process Capability through effective application of statistical analysis.
Work with suppliers to minimize any quality/performance issues.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

years Manufacturing Engineering /Quality Assurance experience in the automotive industry.
Demonstrated knowledge of advanced quality planning, root cause failure analysis, , statistical distributions, machine and assembly processes
Knowledge of TS16949 required. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
